Where LG K30 is just an entry-level android smartphone, Q7 Plus is equipped with better hardware & more features, in fact, it even surpasses the highly popular LG Stylo 4 & even Stylo 5 which is more or less the same phone with few extras.

LG K30 and Q7 Plus were released at the same time with a few months difference in Mid 2018.

Even today Q7 plus sells for twice or thrice the price of LG K30. However, Q7 Plus justifies its price tag with the hardware and features it offers. We are going to find this out in the upcoming tables.

LG K40 is the successor to K30 and it’s the latest entrant in this series. LG K50 is announced as well, but it’s not yet launched in the USA.

In this post, we’re going to point out the differences and similarities between LG K20, K30 & K40 and would try to find out if K40 is a true successor or not.

Please make sure that in this post I’m comparing the MetroPCS / T-Mobile variant of LG K20, K30 & K40. There will be differences between these variants and those from Boost Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, Spectrum, Xfinity or the Factory Unlocked Version.
