Different kinds of Screen Settings are present on LG K20 & K20 Plus. They are Screen Color Inversion, High Contrast Screen, Comfort View & Color Settings. If you’ve turned on any of these accidentally, the screen would become negative/black & white/off white, etc.
In this post, we are going to fix the negative display / inverted colors issue and check out the LG K20 Dark Mode. So Let’s get going –
LG K20 Negative Display / Inverted Colors – Fix
On LG K20, Color Inversion inverts the screen color. It increases Screen Color Contrast for users with low vision. When activated it gives the effect of a photographic negative film.
As its present as a shortcut in the navigation panel, you may activate it accidentally.
To disable Negative Display or Screen Color Inversion, Go to Settings and select the General Tab.
Now scroll and choose “Accessibility”.
Select the first option on the Accessibility page, i.e Vision.
On this page, look for “Screen color inversion” and tap on it to disable.
You can see, the screen is back to the normal state.
If the “Color Inversion” shortcut is present in your navigation panel. You can disable it from there as well.
Just pull down the notification bar and tap “Color Inversion” as shown above.
LG K20 Plus Dark Mode – High Contrast Screen
The Dark Mode on LG K20 & K20 Plus can be activated via Color Inversion, High Contrast Screen, or with a Dark Theme.
We have tried Color Inversion now let’s check out the High Contrast Screen.
We have to again follow the same path to activate High Contrast Screen.
Go to Settings < General < Accessibility.
Select “Vision” on Accessibility Page.
Click on “High contrast screen” to enable it.
In this Dark Mode, the background is black and the screen contrast is increased.
You can see how it looks like when activated.
LG K20 Plus Dark Mode – Black Bold Theme
We can also enable Dark Mode on K20 & K20 Plus with the help of a Dark Theme. There is a pre-installed “Black Bold” Dark Theme on K20 Plus. Let’s check it out.
On your K20 Plus home screen, tap the Setting icon.
Select the “Display” tab and click “Theme” as shown above.
The current & Default theme is by the name of “LG”.
The 2 other themes are “Black Bold” and “High Contrast”.
We have already tried the “High Contrast” theme, let’s activate “Black Bold” this time.
Tap on “Black Bold” and hit “APPLY” as shown above.
It looks cool. It feels better than High Contrast Screen & Color Inversion.
