Samsung A11 lock screen bypass / forgot password, pin, pattern

The bad news is it’s not possible to bypass the Samsung A11 lock screen without a hard reset. In the process, you’ll lose the data stored in the internal storage including photos, videos, apps & other files.

You can see I’m locked out on my Samsung A11 MetroPCS. I don’t remember the screen lock password.

To bypass the lock screen we need to put our phone into recovery mode. Let’s turn off the phone.

It’s not letting me power off the phone without unlocking the screen.

 

The same thing happened when I tried to restart the phone.

Now, the only option left is to force restart the phone using the volume down & power keys.

 

Press & hold the volume down & power keys until the phone reboots.

During the restart, when the screen turns black, release the volume down key and hold the volume up button. Don’t release the power button.

When Samsung Galaxy A11 appears on the screen, release both the keys.

This will put your phone into the Recovery Mode.

In the recovery mode, the touch doesn’t work. We need to use the volume rocker and power keys for navigation.

Move down from “Reboot system now” to “Wipe data/factory reset” using the volume down button & tap the power key once.

 

 

Again move down from “Cancel” to “Factory data reset” & press the power button once.

This action will wipe the internal storage data. Press the power button one more time to reboot the phone.

 

 

 

After the reset, the phone has landed on the “Let’s go!” screen.

Tap the “Forward button” to move ahead.

Tick the checkboxes and click Next.

 

In the next step, we need to connect our A11 to the internet via Wifi or Mobile data.

 

After waiting for a while, it brings me to the screen lock verification page.

I don’t remember the screen lock password. Let’s use the 2nd option – “Use my Google account instead”.

 

We are now on the Google Verification page. It’s asking to sign in with the previously synced Google account on this device.

Enter your Google account credentials & finish the setup wizard to reach the Samsung A11 home screen.

How to bypass Google verification on Samsung A11 MetroPCS SM-A115U

After the recent Samsung A11 security update, the FRP bypass exploit is fixed. It’s not possible to bypass the Google account without using a computer.

We are going to use a SamFirm tool to bypass the FRP lock as follows –

Before using the SamFirm tool we need to disable the virus protection on our PC.

Enter the term virus in the search bar and open the “Virus & threat protection page”.

 

Now, select “Manage settings” as shown above.

Turn off the virus protection. We need to turn off the real-time protection, cloud-delivered protection, automatic sample submission, etc.

 

 

The virus protection is turned off. Let’s proceed further. You can turn on the virus protection after using the tool.

Now, download the Samsung USB Driver & SamFirm tool from the below links  –

Before connecting your Samsung A11 to the PC the Samsung drivers should be installed on the computer.

 

Use the above setup file to install the Samsung Mobile driver on your PC.

Now, connect your phone to the computer using a USB-C cable.

 

Wait for the drivers to install. You can check the installation status in the Device Manager.

 

Now, extract the SamFirm zip file as shown above.

 

Open the extracted folder.

 

Run the SamFirm file to launch the tool.

 

Choose the “Android Tools” tab as shown above.

 

If using this tool for the first time, you need to disable the driver’s signature.

Tap on – “Click Here to disable drivers signature” to do the same.

 

Now, restart the PC. After the reboot re-launch this program and click on Android Tools.

Now, select the “Bypass FRP” tab as shown above.

 

 

Use the dropdown and change the FRP bypass method to – “Browser via (Galaxy Store)”.

Now, hit the option “MTP Bypass FRP” and look at your Samsung A11 screen.

 

 

There must be a pop-up on your phone screen – “SamFirm Tool by Mahmoud Salah”.

Hit “View” to launch the Samsung Galaxy Store.

Select “Agree” to accept the terms and conditions.

 

 

We are now in the Samsung Galaxy Store app.

Tap the search bar at the top-right corner and search for the app android hidden settings 

Among the search results, choose the app – “Android Hidden Settings (Quick Setting)”.

 

Now, install and launch this app as shown above.

 

 

On the app page, hit the search bar and enter the term Choose

Among the search result dropdown, we need to select the option – “Choose Screen Lock”.

 

This option brings us to the “Lock device” page.

Now, we are going to use this page to add a new screen lock. This lock will replace the old lock.

I’m adding an easy-to-remember PIN 1234

 

Re-enter the PIN and hit “OK”.  The screen lock has been changed.

Let’s use this new PIN to bypass the google account.

 

Keep going back until your reach the first page of the setup wizard.

 

 

 

We are once again on the “Let’s go!” page.

Tap the forward arrow and hit “Next”.

 

 

Keep moving further as per the on-screen prompts.

 

Once again we are on the screen lock verification page. We need to verify with the screen PIN.

Use the PIN we set up in the previous step i.e. 1234 and click “Done”.

 

We have successfully verified the PIN.

There is a skip option on the Google account setup page.

Skip the Google account set up to proceed further.

 

Accept the Google services terms and conditions in the next step.

 

 

Hit “OK” on the review additional apps page and then click “Next”.

 

Skip the Samsung account set up to move ahead.

Finally, hit “Finish” to complete the setup wizard.

We have successfully landed on the Samsung A11 home screen thus bypassing the lock screen.
