How to bypass the lock screen on OnePlus Nord N10 5G  / Forgot Pattern, PIN, Password / Locked Out

You can see, I’m locked out on my Nord N10. It’s asking for the lock screen password.

I’ve forgotten the password. To get past this screen, we need to reset the phone via recovery mode.

To put our phone into recovery mode, we need to power it off.

Press the Volume up + Power keys and select “Power off” to turn off the phone.

Once the phone is off, press the volume down + power button to power it on.

When the 1+ logo appears on the screen, release both the keys.

Now, our phone is in recovery mode.

Tap “Forgot password” to reset the phone.

The phone shows a warning – “You will LOSE everything(Music, pics, etc).

Hit “Ok” to accept the warning.

Hit “Ok” one more time to confirm the action.

The phone is getting wiped now. We need to wait for a while.

After the reset, my Nord N10 has reached the “Hi There” screen of the setup wizard.

Tap “START” to move ahead.

Agree to the OnePlus terms and conditions in the next step.

To proceed further, we need to connect our phone to the internet using Wifi or Mobile data.

After getting connected, it’s checking for updates. We need to wait for a while.

Click “Don’t copy” on the next page.

We have reached the Screen lock verification page. As I don’t remember the password, I’ll choose another option – “USE MY GOOGLE ACCOUNT INSTEAD”.

We need to sign in to the previously synced Google account on this device. Enter your Google account credentials and follow the on-screen prompts to reach the Nord N10 home screen.

In case, you don’t remember the Google account details, follow the below hack to get past the FRP lock screen –

From the Google verification screen, we need to go back to the “Connect to Wifi” page.

Use the back button & go 2 steps back.

We have reached the “Connect to Wifi” page.

On this page, Go to “See all Wi-Fi networks” > “Add new network”.

On the Keyboard, tap the “microphone icon” and select “DENY”.

Repeat the steps.

Again Click the ” Mic icon” and then “DENY & DON’T ASK AGAIN”.

One last time, we need to click on Mic and select “ALLOW” as shown above.

This will bring us to the Gboard’s App Info Page.

Select “Permissions” and hit the “Search icon” at the top-right corner.

Search the term settings & scroll down to the bottom of the page.

Now, choose “Settings – App Info”.

On the next page, tap “Open” to reach the Settings app.

On the Settings page, we need to open “Security & lock screen” > “Screen pinning”.

Turn on “Screen Pinning” and then “Lock device when unpinning”.

This brings us to the “Choose Screen Lock” page.

Here we can add a new screen lock. Let’s set up a PIN.

Choose “Fingerprint + PIN” as shown above.

Enter the PIN twice to change the screen lock. I’ve added 1234 as the new PIN.

Let’s go back and use this PIN to bypass the Google account.

Keep going back until your reach the first page.

We are once again on the “Hi There” screen.

Click “START” and then “AGREE”.

Hit “Don’t Copy” to reach the screen lock verification page.

Let’s skip the Google account set up to move ahead.

Accept Google Services terms and conditions in the next step.

Agree to participate in the OnePlus Co-creation user programs.

Let’s skip the Fingerprint setup. We can add it later.
