On your LG V40/V50 Thinq, you need to verify with the previously synced Google account, when you hard reset the phone via Recovery Mode.

As a security measure to verify the device ownership, we need to sign in to the last-synced Google account.

In this post, we are going to use the latest 2021 FRP bypass hack to get past the V40/V50 Google lock screen in a few minutes without using a computer, app, Bluetooth, etc.

Follow the below troubleshooting guide to FRP unlock your V40/V50 Thinq in no time –

After doing a hard reset on my LG V40, I’ve landed on the “Welcome” page of the setup wizard.

Let’s tap “Next” on the “New Second Screen” page to proceed further.

In the next step, we need to connect to the internet via Wifi or Mobile data.

Now, it’s checking for updates. This may take a few minutes time.

Now, we need to skip the “Copy App & Data” page. Choose “Don’t copy”.

This brings us to the screen lock password verification page. I don’t remember the lock screen password. Let’s choose the alternate option i.e. “USE MY GOOGLE ACCOUNT INSTEAD”.

We have reached the Google Verification screen. It’s asking to sign in with the previously synced Google account on this particular device. I don’t remember the Google account credentials.

A “Default keyboard” pop-up appears at the bottom of the screen. Tap “Settings” to proceed further.

When on the “Manage Keyboards” page, select the first keyboard i.e. “Gboard”.

On the Gboard Settings page, click the “3 dots” icon at the top-right corner and select “Help & Feedback”.

This brings us to the Support page.

Select the first option on the support page i.e. – “Delete or disable apps on Android”.

On the next page, look for “Tap to go to Application Settings” and click on it to reach the “App Info” page.

On the App Info page, scroll down and select “Settings”.

This brings us to the App Info screen of the “Settings” App.

Hit “Open” to reach the Settings app.

We have reached the Settings app. Choose “Fingerprints” and hit “Next”.

This time we are on the “Select Screen Lock” page.

We are going to use this page to add a new screen lock.

Set up an easy-to-remember PIN, Pattern, or Password.

Let’s add a Screen PIN.

Choose “No, thanks” on the “Secure Startup” page and click “Next”.

I’m adding 1234 as the new PIN

Confirm the PIN and hit “OK”.
