LG V30+ FRP Bypass 2021 Google account unlock Android 9 No PC

LG V30 was launched with Android 7.1.2 Nougat and was last updated to Android 9.0 Pie. In this post, we are going to use the latest 2021-2022 method to get past the Google lock on LG V30 & V30+ without a computer.

The Factory Reset Protection (FRP) is enabled when you reset your V30 using the volume down & power keys. After the hard reset (via recovery mode), it forces you to verify with the screen lock credentials or the previously synced Google account.

If you’re stuck on the LG V30 Google lock screen, do not worry. In a few minutes, you’ll be able to use your phone once again. Let’s begin the troubleshooting –

I was locked out on my LG V30. So, I did a hard reset using the volume down + power keys. After the reset, it brought me to the “Welcome” screen as shown above.

Let’s tap the “Forward button” to move ahead.

In the next step, we need to connect our V30+ to a Wi-fi network.

It’s checking for updates. Let’s wait for a while.

The following screen is “Copy apps & data”. Choose “Don’t copy” to move ahead.

Now, I’ve reached the screen lock PIN verification screen. I don’t remember the correct PIN. I’ll choose the alternate option – “USE MY GOOGLE ACCOUNT INSTEAD”.

We are now on the Google Verification page. To get past this screen we need to enter the previously synced Google account.

Let’s use the latest 2022 method to get past the FRP lock as follows –

How to bypass Google account verification – FRP lock on LG V30+ without computer 2021 2022 – T-M0bile H932 AT&T H931 Sprint LS998 Verizon VS996 US Cellular US998

To bypass the Google lock we need a locked SIM card.

I’m using LG Aristo 2 to lock a MetroPCS SIM card.

If using as LG phone –

Open the Settings app and go to “Lock Screen & Security”.

Now, click on “Set up SIM Card lock” and then enable “Lock SIM Card”.

It’s asking for the SIM card PIN. The default MetroPCS SIM PIN is 1234

Enter the code and hit “OK”.

The SIM card lock is now enabled.

Use a SIM ejector tool and place this locked SIM in your LG V30.

You can use any SIM card for this purpose. The default SIM PIN varies from carrier to carrier. You can search the code in Google.

Now, check your LG V30 screen. It’s asking for the SIM PIN code.

Enter the code 1234 and hit the tick mark.

There is a “Not signed in” notification on the screen. We need to swipe down the screen starting from “Not signed in” towards the bottom.

You can follow the above screenshot.

A few shortcut icons appear at the top.

We need to open the Bluetooth page. Long-press the Bluetooth icon as shown above.

Turn on Bluetooth and get a Bluetooth headset or Earbud.

I’m using an earbud PTron Bassbuds Urban.

Pair your LG V30 with the Bluetooth headset/earbud.

Now, press the call button of the Bluetooth headset/touch area of the earbud for 2 seconds and release it.

This will launch Google Assistant on your LG V30.

Now, tap the mic icon and say the term email in the microphone.

A “G Search” icon appears at the bottom-right corner. Click on it.

Now, erase the term email from the search bar and enter it again.

From the search result dropdown, pick the last result “Email with the app icon” to launch this app.

Now, we need to select the “Email provider”.

Select the first option – “Microsoft Exchange”.

Enter any email id in the “EMAIL ADDRESS” field to enable the “MANUAL SETUP” option.

Click “MANUAL SETUP” to reach the “Server Settings” page.

Scroll down to the bottom and use the last option to “Add” a client certificate.

When the “Attention” pop-up appears, choose “CHANGE” to accept the request.

Now, it brings me to the “Select Screen Lock” page.

Let’s use it to add a new screen lock PIN, Pattern, or Password.

I’ve picked the Pattern option. This Pattern lock will replace the old PIN lock.

Hit “NEXT” on the secure startup screen and draw an easy-to-remember pattern.

I’ve set up the pattern lock L as shown above.

Draw the pattern one more time and click “CONFIRM”.

We have successfully replaced the old screen lock with this new pattern. Now, let’s use it to bypass the FRP lock.

Go back to the first page using the back button.

Click the forward arrow on the Welcome screen.

Hit “DON’T COPY” on the copy apps & data page.

It skipped the screen lock verification page and directly brought me to the “Verify your account” screen. We need the “Draw your pattern” option to bypass the Google lock.

To restore that page, we need to hard reset using the volume down & power keys via Recovery Mode.

Let’s turn off our LG V30 t0 enter recovery mode.

Long-press the power button on the back and choose “POWER OFF” as shown above.

To put your V30 into recovery mode, press the volume down + power button.

As soon as the “LG V30” logo appears, release the power key for a moment and hold it again. Do not release the volume down key.

Now, keep pressing both the buttons to reach the “Factory data reset” screen.

We are now in Recovery Mode.

Use the volume button to go down from “No” to “Yes”. Click the power key to select “Yes”,

Again move down from No to Yes and initiate the factory data reset with the power key.

After a few minutes, the phone has reached the “Enter PIN code” screen. Unlock the screen with the PIN code 1234.

Tap the forward button to move ahead.

Hit “DON’T COPY” on the “Copy apps & data” screen.

This time we get the “Draw your Pattern” screen. Verify with the pattern lock L

The Pattern verification is successful. We have bypassed the Google account verification.

Use the “Skip” option on the Google sign-in screen to proceed further.

Now, accept the Google services terms and conditions.

Follow the on-screen prompts to keep moving ahead.

Tick the “I agree” checkboxes when your reach the “Legal Documents” screen. This is the last page of the setup wizard. Hit “DONE” to complete the device setup.

We have successfully landed on the LG V30 home screen thus bypassing the Google lock.
