LG lm-k500um FRP Bypass K51 Boost Mobile Google unlock

Of all the LG K51 variants in the USA, only the Boost K51 was launched with Android 9 and received the Android 10 update much later.

Today, when K51 MetroPCS/T-Mobile is running on Android 11, the Boost version is still running on Android 10.

The factory reset protection gets enabled when you hard reset your K51 via recovery mode. To complete the device setup after reset, you need to verify with the screen lock PIN/Pattern/Password or the previously synced Google account.

In this post, we are going to learn how to bypass the Google account verification on LG K51 Boost Mobile Android 10 without using a computer.

If your K51 is running on Android 11, please follow the below link –

Let’s begin the troubleshooting –

I did a hard reset because I forgot the lock screen pattern on my LG K51.

We need to use the volume down + power button to reset the device when locked out on K51.

How to factory reset LG K51 when locked out

The Factory data reset took a few minutes and then I reached the “Welcome” screen.

Let’s click the forward button to begin the device setup.

In the next step, we are going to connect our device to a Wi-Fi network.

Now, the phone is connected to the internet and it’s checking for updates.

After a few minutes, it brings me to the “Copy apps & data” screen. Select “Don’t copy” to skip this step.

Now, I’m stuck on the screen lock pattern verification. I need to verify with the correct pattern or the previously synced Google account.

I do not remember either of the two.

Let’s use the latest 2022 hack to bypass the FRP lock on LG K51 Boost Mobile without a computer –

How to bypass Google lock on LG K51 Android 10 Boost Mobile lmk500um without PC

To bypass the FRP lock, we need to pull out the keyboard.

Tap the blank field “Email or Phone” to pull out the keyboard.

Now, click the “small keyboard icon” at the bottom-right corner.

NOTE: If you don’t have the keyboard icon at the bottom, then use the alternate LG K51 Bluetooth method to bypass the Google lock –

LG K51 FRP Bypass Bluetooth Method – No keyboard icon

A small window appears at the bottom. Click “Settings” as shown above.

The next page is “Manage keyboards”.

Tap the first keyboard on this screen – “Gboard”.

On the Gboard settings page, tap the “3 dots” icon and select “Help & Feedback”.

We are now on the “Support” screen.

Select the first help article – “Delete or disable apps on Android”.

On the following page, click on the link – “Tap to go to application settings”.

This will bring you to the “App Info” screen.

Scroll down and tap “Settings”.

Now, hit “Open” to launch the Settings app.

We are now on the Settings page.

Select “Fingerprints” and hit “Next”.

Now, it brings me to the “Select Screen Lock” page.

Using this screen I can add a new Pattern, PIN, or Password.

This new lock will replace the old lock screen pattern.

Let’s set up an easy PIN code 1234

Re-enter the same PIN to confirm.

The screen lock has been changed.

Now, we can go back and use this PIN code 1234 to bypass the Google lock.

Tap the back button to reach the first page.

Hit the back button multiple times to reach the “Welcome” screen.

Now, click the forward button and hit “Next” on the “New Second Screen” page.

Click “Don’t copy” on the “Copy apps & data” screen.

It skipped the PIN verification screen and directly took me to the Google account verification screen. We need the “Verify PIN” option to bypass the Google lock.

We can restore that page with a factory data reset. Turn off your LG K51 device to enter Recovery Mode.

Long-press the power button and choose “POWER OFF”. Wait for the device to turn off completely.

Now, press and hold the volume down & power keys.

As soon as the LG K51 logo shows up, release only the power button for a moment and hold it again. Do not leave the volume down button during the whole process.

Keep pressing both the keys until you land on the “Factory data reset” screen.

We are now in the LG K51 Recovery Mode.

Press the volume key to move down from “No (Exit)” to “Yes” then click the power button.

Again move down from “No(Exit)” to “Yes” with the volume key and hit the power key to reset your device.

The factory reset will take a few minutes.

After the reset, I’ve reached the “Welcome” screen.

Click the “Forward button” to move ahead.

Hit “Next” on the “New Second Screen”.

Connect your device to a Wi-Fi network.

The next page is “Copy apps & data”. Click “Don’t copy” to move ahead.

Now, it brings me to the “Verify PIN” screen. This page is restored after the factory reset.

Verify with the PIN code 1234

The PIN verification is done successfully.

Use the “Skip” option to bypass Google account sign-in.

Now, accept the Google services terms and conditions.

Hit “OK” when you reach the “Review Additional Apps” screen.

Tick the “I agree” checkbox on the “Legal Documents” page and hit “Done” to finish the setup wizard.

We have successfully landed on the LG K51 Boost Mobile home screen thus bypassing the Google lock.
