LG K51 Pin Bypass, passcode bypass, pattern lock – password reset

Are you locked out on LG K51 and you don’t know how to bypass the PIN/Pattern/Password? Don’t worry you’ve reached the right place. In a few minutes, you’ll be using your phone once again.

Unfortunately, we cannot bypass the PIN/Pattern/Password without a reset.

To get past the lock screen, you need to put the phone in Recovery Mode. On K51, it doesn’t allow you to power off or restart the phone without unlocking the screen. So, how are you going to access the Recovery Mode?

I want to bypass the pattern lock on my LG K51. I don’t remember the correct pattern.

To bypass the lock screen, we need to put our K51 into recovery mode. Let’s turn off the phone to access the recovery mode.

It’s not allowing me to turn off the phone without unlocking the screen.

There’s an error on the screen – “Unlock the phone to power off”.

I even failed to restart the phone. A similar error shows up.

Now, our last resort is the force restart.

Press & hold the power + volume down keys until your K51 restarts.

 

During the boot-up, when the “LG K51” logo shows up, release the power key for a moment and hold it again. (Don’t release the volume down button.)

Keep holding both the keys to reach the “Factory Data Reset” page.

 

We are in the Recovery Mode. Let’s use the volume rocker and power button to hard reset our K51.

Go down from “No(Exit)” to “Yes” using the volume key. Now press the power button to select the “Yes” option.

Again go down from “No” to “Yes”. Click the power key to reset the device.

The phone data is getting erased. Wait for a few minutes.

After the reset, we have reached the “Welcome” screen.

Click the “Forward button” to move ahead.

Now, we are on the “New Second Screen” page. Hit “Next” to proceed.

 

Now, connect your K51 to a Wifi network.

The phone will stay on the “Checking for updates” screen for a few minutes.

Afterward, we reach the “Copy apps & data” screen. Touch the “Don’t copy” option.

It brings me to the pattern lock verification screen. I’ve chosen the alternate option “USE MY GOOGLE ACCOUNT INSTEAD”.

This time we are on Google’s “Verify your account” screen. To get past this page we need to sign in with the previously synced Google account.

Sign in with your Google account and follow the on-screen prompts to reach the LG K51 home screen.

How to bypass Google Verification on LG K51 without computer 2021 LMK500

 

To bypass the Google lock, we need the keyboard.

Tap the blank field – “Email or Phone” to bring out the keyboard.

Click the “small keyboard icon” located at the bottom-right corner.

 

A “Default keyboard” window appears at the bottom of the screen. Hit the “Settings” option as shown above.

Now, we are on the “Manage keyboards” page.

Choose the first option – “Gboard”.

 

 

On the Gboard Settings page, tap the “3 dots icon” and select “Help & Feedback”.

This will bring you to the “Support” screen.

Select the first option – “Delete or disable apps on Android”.

On the following page, look for – “Tap to go to application settings” and touch this option.

 

This time we are on the “App Info” screen.

Scroll down and click “Settings”.

On the “Settings – App Info” page, click “Open” to launch this app.

 

We have reached the Settings app.

Go to “Fingerprints” > “Next”.

 

 

Now, it takes us to the “Screen Screen Lock” page.

Use this page to add a new PIN, Pattern, or Password.

This new lock will replace the old screen lock.

I’ve chosen the “PIN” option. Let’s add 1234 as the new Screen PIN.

 

Enter the PIN 2 times and tap “OK” or “DONE”.

We have successfully replaced the old pattern lock with this new PIN code.

Now, let’s use this PIN to bypass the Google verification.

Go back to the first page.

 

Keep going back using the back button.

 

We have reached the “Welcome” page.

Click the “Forward Arrow” and tap “Next” on the following screen.

 

Touch “Don’t copy” on the “Copy apps & data” screen to proceed further.

It brings me directly to the “Verify your account” screen. We need the PIN verification page to enter the new PIN 1234. To restore that screen, we are going to factory reset the phone using volume down & power keys. 

 

 

Long-press the power key and choose “POWER OFF”. Wait for the phone to turn off.

 

 

Now, click the power + volume down keys to boot the phone.

As soon as the LG K51 logo appears, only release the power key for a moment and hold it again. Now, keep holding both the buttons to enter “Recovery Mode”.

 

Go down from “No” to “Yes” with the volume key. Press the power button to select “Yes”.

 

Repeat the above steps.

Again go down from No to Yes. Press the power key to reset your K51.

 

 

 

The factory reset takes a few minutes and brings us to the “Welcome” page.

Let’s complete the device setup.

Hit the “Forward button” and touch “Next” on the following page.

 

Now, connect your K51 to a Wifi network wait while it’s checking for updates.

 

 

 

Click “Don’t copy” when you reach the “Copy apps & data” screen.

This time it brings me to the “Verify PIN” screen.

Let’s enter the PIN we added a few steps ago i.e 1234

 

 

The PIN verification is successful. We have bypassed the Google account.

This time we get a “Skip” option to bypass the Google sign-in page.

 

Now, accept the Google services terms and conditions.

 

Hit “OK” on the “Review additional apps” screen.

 

Finally, we have reached the last page of the setup wizard.

Tick the “I agree” checkboxes and click “Done” to complete the setup wizard.

 

We have successfully landed on the LG K51 home screen thus bypassing the PIN/Pattern lock/Passcode.
