LG K51 was launched with Android 10 and it’s not yet updated to Android 11. However, after the recent security update, the older FRP bypass method no longer works.
On K51, if you’re locked out due to a forgotten PIN, Pattern, or Password, you need to hard reset the phone via Recovery mode. After the reset, we need to verify with the previously synced Google account.
In this post, we are going to learn how to bypass the LG K51 lock screen when locked out –
How to unlock LG K51 Forgot Password / How to Factory Reset LG K51 without password
I’m locked out on my LG K51. I don’t remember the lock screen password.
To bypass this screen we need to hard reset the phone via recovery mode. Unfortunately, we cannot bypass the lock screen without a reset.
To enter the recovery mode we need to turn off the phone.
Long-press the power key and click “Power off” to turn off your Stylo 6.
It’s not allowing me to power off the phone. There is an error on the screen – “Unlock the phone to power off”.
The same error shows up when I try to restart the phone.
Now, the only option left is to force restart our Stylo 6.
To force restart the phone, press and hold the volume down & power keys until the phone restarts.
During the restart when “LG K51” appears on the screen, release the power button for a moment and hold it again (Don’t leave the volume down key).
Now, keep holding both the buttons until you reach the “Factory data reset” page.
We are now in Recovery Mode. The touch doesn’t work in this mode. We are going to use the volume rocker and power keys for navigation.
Go down from “No(Exit)” to “Yes” with the volume down key. Now, press the power button once.
Repeat the above steps.
Again click the volume down button to move from “No” to “Yes” and hit the Power key to initiate the factory data reset.
The phone data is getting wiped now. We need to wait for a few minutes.
After a few minutes, I’ve reached the “Welcome” screen.
Tap the forward button to proceed.
Hit “Next” on the “New Second Screen” page.
In the next step, we need to connect our Stylo 6 to the internet using Wifi or Mobile data.
My phone is now connected to the “Home Wifi” network.
It’s checking for updates. We need to wait for a few minutes.
Click “Don’t copy” on the “Copy apps & data” page.
Now, it brings me to the screen lock verification page. There are 2 options on this page. Either I need to draw the correct pattern or use my Google account.
I’ll choose the 2nd option as I don’t remember the screen lock pattern.
This time we are on the Google verification screen. Here we need to sign in with the previously synced Google account.
Enter your Google account credentials and follow the on-screen prompts to finish the setup wizard.
In case, you don’t remember the Google account details, follow the below hack to bypass google verification using the latest & easiest method –

We have successfully bypassed the Google account. The “Verify your account” page is not showing anymore.
