LG K51 Android 11 FRP Bypass 2021 Google Account lock lmk500

The LG K51 Software Version is now updated to Android 11. It was launched 1 year with Android 10 and one major update was due. K51 being a mid-ranger the chances of an Android 12 update is quite bleak.

After this recent update, the old FRP bypass hack doesn’t work anymore. We need to use a new method to bypass the Google lock on LG K51 as follows –

The Google verification screen shows up when you hard reset your K51 using the volume down + power button.

I did a factory reset on my K51 via recovery mode. After the reset, I’ve landed on the “Welcome” page.

Let’s click the forward arrow to begin the device setup.

In the next step, we need to connect our K51 to a Wifi network.

Now, the phone is getting ready. This process will take a minute or two.

Afterward, we reach the “Copy apps and data” page. Click “Don’t copy” to move ahead.

On the following screen, it’s asking for the lock screen password. I don’t remember the password. Let’s choose another option – “USE MY GOOGLE ACCOUNT INSTEAD”.

We are now on the Google account verification screen. It’s asking to sign in with the previously synced Google account.

Let’s try to bypass the Google lock on LG K51 Android 11 as follows –

How to bypass Google Account Verification – FRP lock on LG K51 Android 11 2021 LMK500 without computer

To bypass the Google lock, we need a locked SIM card.

I’m using LG Stylo 6 and MetroPCS SIM for this purpose.

If using an LG phone –

Open the Settings app and search the term SIM

Now, choose “Setup up SIM card lock” and turn on the “Lock SIM Card” option.

It’s asking for the current SIM PIN.The default MetroPCS PIN is 1234

Enter the code 1234 and hit “OK”.

The SIM card lock is now enabled. We are going to insert this locked SIM in LG K51.

Use a SIM ejector tool and place the locked SIM as per the above picture.

Now, look at your K51 screen.

It’s asking for the SIM card PIN. Enter 1234 and hit the tick icon.

Now, tap the lock icon as marked in the above screenshot.

A “Not Signed in” notification appears on the screen.

Swipe down the screen starting from “Not Signed in” towards the bottom of the screen.

Now, long-press the “Bluetooth icon” at the top.

Turn on Bluetooth and get hold of a Bluetooth headset/Earbud.

Pair your Bluetooth device with K51.

Now, press the call button of the Bluetooth headset/ touch area of the earbud for 2 seconds and release it.

This will launch the Google Assistant app.

Tap the “Microphone icon” to say a voice command.

Say Open Settings in the mic to launch the Settings app.

In Settings, Go to “Apps” > “App Info”.

Using the App Info screen, we are going to disable 3 apps.

First, choose the “Android Setup” app.

“Force Stop” the Android Setup app.

Now go one step back to the App Info page.

This time open the “Google Play Services” app.

Tap “Disable” to turn off this app.

Now, “Force Stop” it.

Once the app is disabled, go one step back to the “App Info” screen.

This time pick the “Setup Wizard” app.

Force Stop the “Setup Wizard” app and restart your LG K51 using the power button.

Unlock the screen with the SIM PIN 1234.

We are once again on the “Welcome” screen.

Click the “forward button” to proceed.

The next page is “Copy apps and data”.

Click the back button once to reach the “Connect to Wi-fi” screen.

Now, click “Set up offline” and then “CONTINUE”.

The phone will now stay on the “Just a Sec” screen. Come back to the “Connect to Wifi” page.

Now touch the touch area of your earbud for 2 seconds and release it. This will launch Google assistant.

Tap the icon at the bottom-left corner as marked in the above screenshot.

This will bring you to this screen – “Google Play Services Required”.

Hit “Settings” to reach the “App Info” page.

Now, “Enable” the Google Play Services app and go back to the “Connect to Wifi” page.

Again tap “Set up offline” and then “CONTINUE”.

Hit “Next” on the “Data & time” screen. We have bypassed the Google account verification page.

The next page is “Google Services”.

Accept the Google services terms and conditions.

Skip the Screen Lock Setup. Choose “No Thanks” and click “Next”.

We are now on the last page of the setup wizard.

Tick the “I agree” checkbox and hit “Done” to complete the setup wizard.

It brings us to the K51 home screen but for a few seconds only.

There comes an error – “Factory reset is proceeded by server policy”.

After this, the phone resets automatically and brings you back to the “Welcome” screen.

So, the only solution to bypass the Google account on LG K51 Android 11 is a downgrade.

We need to downgrade the firmware from Android 11 to Android 10 and then use the old method to bypass the Google lock.

I’ll post the K51 downgrade tutorial in a few days.
