LG K30/K40 FRP Bypass New Method 2021 No Switch Access

LG K30 & K40 are now updated to Android 9. The same FRP bypass hack works on both phones. After the recent security update, the old FRP bypass method no longer works.

Google has fixed the exploit in its new update. During the Google bypass, after changing the lock screen, you don’t get the screen lock verification page. It directly takes you to the “Verify your account” screen. To fix this issue, we need to modify the old method as follows –

I was locked out on my LG K40. I did a factory reset using the volume down & power keys.

After the reset, I’ve reached the “Welcome” screen.

Let’s click the forward button to move ahead.

Now, we need to connect our K40/K30 to a Wifi network.

After getting connected to the internet, it’s checking for updates.

After a few minutes, it brings me to the “Copy apps & data” page.

Click “DON’T COPY” to skip this step.

We have reached the PIN verification page. I don’t remember the lock screen PIN. I clicked the other option – “USE MY GOOGLE ACCOUNT INSTEAD”.

Now, it brings me to the Google verification page. To verify the ownership of the device we need to sign in using the previously synced Google account.

We are going to use the latest 2021 hack to bypass the Google account on LG K30/K40 without a computer –

How to bypass Google verification on LG K40/K30 without PC – No Switch Access – 2021 LM-X410 LM-X420

To bypass FRP, we need a locked SIM. Use another phone to lock a SIM card.

I’ve used an LG phone and Metro SIM for this purpose.

If you’re using an LG phone then follow the below steps  –

Open the Settings app and Go to “General” > “Lock Screen & Security”

Now, click on “Set up SIM card lock” and turn on the “Lock SIM Card” option.

It’s asking for the current PIN. The default PIN varies from carrier to carrier. You can search it in Google.

The MetroPCS default SIM PIN is 1234

Enter the PIN and tap “OK”.

The SIM lock is now enabled. We are going to insert this locked SIM in LG K30/K40.

Use a SIM ejector tool to remove the K30/K40 SIM tray and insert the locked SIM in its respective slot.

The phone is now asking for the PIN code.

Enter the SIM PIN 1234 and hit the tick icon.

Now, there is a “Not signed in” notification on the screen.

We have to swipe down the screen starting from “Not Signed in” towards the bottom of the screen. You can follow the arrow in the above screenshot.

This will launch a few quick access icons on the top of the screen.

Long-press the “Bluetooth icon” to open the Bluetooth page.

Turn on Bluetooth and get hold of a Bluetooth Headset or Earbud.

I’m using “PTron BassBuds Urban” earbuds.

Pair the Bluetooth device with your K30/K40 as shown above.

Now, tap the touch area of the earbud/call button on the BlueTooth headset for 3 seconds and release it.

This will launch the Google assistant on your K40/K30. We are going to send a voice command to open Google search.

Say the term email in your phone’s microphone.

This brings a “G Search” option at the bottom-right corner. Click on it.

Now, the Google search bar is open.

Erase the term email as shown above.

Again enter email in the search bar and choose the “Email app with icon” from the search results dropdown.

Now, select the email provider as “Microsoft Exchange”.

On the Microsoft Exchange screen, enter any “email address” and click on “MANUAL SETUP”.

This brings us to the “Server Settings” page.

Scroll down on this page and use the last option to “Add” a Client Certificate.

It says we need to change to a secure screen lock to use credential storage.

Hit “CHANGE” to proceed further.

Now, we have reached the “Select Screen Lock” page.

Using this screen we can add a new PIN, Pattern, or Password.

This new lock will replace the old lock.

I’ve chosen the first option i.e. “Pattern”.

Choose the option “Require pattern to turn on phone” on the “Secure start-up” screen and hit “NEXT”.

Now, draw an easy-to-remember pattern. I’m adding a Pattern L

Make the pattern one more time and click “CONFIRM”.

We have successfully changed the screen lock.

Now, let’s use this new Pattern to bypass the Google verification.

Use the back button to go back to the “Welcome” page.

We are once again on the “Welcome” screen. Tap the “forward arrow” to proceed.

Choose “DON’T COPY” on the “Copy apps & data” screen.

This directly brings me to the “Verify your account” screen. The pattern lock verification page is missing. We need the screen lock verification page to bypass the Google account.

To restore that page, we need to factory reset the phone using the volume down & power button.

Long-press the power button and choose “POWER OFF” to turn off the phone.

Boot the phone using the volume down + power button.

When the LG K30/LG K40 logo appears on the screen, release the power key and hold it again. Don’t leave the volume down button.

Keep holding both the keys until you reach the “Factory Data Reset” page.

This page is used the reset the phone. We are going to use the volume rocker for navigation and the power button for selection.

Go down from “No(Exit)” to “Yes” with the volume button. Now, tap the Power key once.

Repeat the steps.

Again go down from No to Yes and hit the Power key to begin the hard reset.

The factory data reset will take a few minutes.

After a while, I’ve landed on the “Enter PIN code” screen.

Enter the code 1234 and unlock the screen.

We are once again on the “Welcome” page.

Click the “Forward button” to proceed.

Now, hit “DON’T COPY” on the following page.

This time we get the pattern lock verification page.

Let’s verify with the Pattern we added a few steps ago i.e. L

The pattern verification is successful. We have bypassed the Google verification.

Now, there is a “Skip” option on the Google sign-in page.

Skip the Google account set up to proceed further.

Now, accept the Google services terms and conditions.

At last, we have reached the final page of the setup wizard i.e. the “Legal Documents” page.

Tick the “I agree” checkboxes and click “DONE” to finish the setup wizard.

We have successfully landed on the LG K30/K40 home screen thus bypassing the Google account verification.
