In device manager before installation, the connected device is visible as “Android” under “Other devices”.
I waited for the ADB driver installation to complete on its own but it failed.
If same is the case with you, then follow the below steps to install it manually –
Right click on “Android” and select “Update Driver Software” as shown above.
Now choose “Browse my computer for driver software” .
Click on “Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer”
Next step is to select our device type from the given list.
Among the list of options select “ADB Interface” and click “Next”
Under Manufacturer tab select “Google”
Our model is LG so we’ve to scroll down to look for “LGE Mobile Sooner Single ADB Interface”
However, I’ve previously installed Samsung ADB interface driver as well and it did work very well without any issues.
Now accept the “Update Driver Warning” to proceed with the ADB driver installation
LGE Mobile Sooner Single ADB Interface driver is installed successfully
The ADB driver will show up under “ADB Interface” in device manager as shown above.
Now that you’ve installed the ADB driver you’re ready to unlock the bootloader of your K20 Plus.
LG K20 Plus Download Mode / Firmware Update Driver Installation
To restore a bricked LG K20 Plus or to update its Android firmware, we’ve to boot the phone in download mode.
In download mode, LG Serial Port driver should be installed successfully to initiate the flashing process.
When you connect your K20 Plus to the PC in download mode for the first time, driver installation with start on its own.
We’re expecting LG Serial port and Modem driver to install successfully.
Wait for the driver installation to complete.
We’ve successfully installed LGE AndroidNet USB Modem and LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port driver for LG K20 Plus. Now we are ready to flash a stock firmware on our LG K20 Plus.

On my k20 plus, the Developer opinion is missing… Settings>General> has no entry for Developer Options ??
What to do?
Thanks.
If you don’t know how to access your developer options….what are you trying to do with adb? You may want to rethink what you’re trying to do. Seriously. Unless you like throwing money away.
That being said. Go to your build number and tap it 7 times. Back out to settings main and voila. Be careful. You change a single tiny thing in your system and you could have a paper weight. No bullshit.
bro you say that like you weren’t there at one point lol, how is he supposed to learn if he never even tries or asks? dont discourage learning
