Google Pixel 3 forgot pin, pattern, password – lock screen bypass 3a xl

Are you locked out on your Google Pixel 3/3a & you don’t remember the lock screen password? Don’t worry you have reached the right place. In a few minutes, you’ll be able to use your phone once again.

Unfortunately, we cannot bypass the Pixel 3 screen lock without a reset. We need to hard reset the phone using the volume down & power keys via the Recovery mode.

Let’s see how to do that –

How to bypass Pixel 3 lock screen/Forgot PIN, Pattern, Password/Locked Out

I’m locked out on my Pixel 3 & I don’t remember the screen lock password.

To get past the lock screen we need to enter the recovery mode.

Let’ turn off the device to access recovery mode.

Long-press the power button and choose “Power off” as shown above.

Once the phone is off, press and hold the volume down + power keys.

We are in the Fastboot Mode.

We need to use the volume rocker to switch from the “START” option to “RECOVERY MODE”.

When the “RECOVERY MODE” option shows up, press the power key once.

Now, there is a “No command” error on the screen.

To get past the No command screen –

  • Press the power button. Keep it pressed and tap the volume up key once.
  • Release both the keys when you reach the “Android Recovery” screen.

Now, again we need to use the volume rocker and power keys to factory reset our Pixel 3 device.

Move down from “Reboot system now” to “Wipe data/factory reset” using the volume down button.

Now click the power button once.

To reset your Pixel 3, move down from “Cancel” to “Factory data reset” and tap the power key to wipe data.

Once the data wipe is complete, press the power key to reboot the phone.

After the reboot, we have reached the “Hi There” screen.

Let’s tap “Start” to begin the device setup.

Now, connect your phone to a Wifi network.

After getting connected, it stays on the “Getting your phone ready” screen for a while.

Afterward, we have reached the “Copy apps & data” page. Choose “Don’t copy” to proceed.

This time we are on the screen lock verification page. I don’t remember the password, so I’ve chosen the 2nd option – Use my Google account instead.

As we reset the phone via recovery mode, we need to verify with the previously synced Google account.

Enter your Google account credentials and follow the on-screen prompts to reach the Pixel 3/3a home screen.

In case, you don’t remember the Google account details, follow the below hack to bypass the FRP lock –

This time it directly brings us to the Google Services screen.

We have bypassed the Google account verification.

Accept Google services terms and conditions.

Skip the screen lock setup as of now. We can do it later.

We have successfully landed on the Pixel 3/3a home screen thus bypassing the screen lock.

Now, let’s turn off the accessibility menu shortcut.

Open the Settings app and go to – “Accessibility” > “Accessibility Menu”.

Turn off the “Accessibility Menu shortcut” using the toggle switch.
