FRP Bypass LG K40 Android 10 2022 AT&T lm-x420as Google lock

Of all the LG K40 models only the AT&T version is updated to Android 10. The rest of the K40 variants are still running on Android 9 Pie.

In this post, we are going to learn how to bypass the Google account verification on LG K40 Android 10 without a computer, SIM card, Bluetooth device, or app –

I forgot my LG K40 lock screen password. I had to reset the device using the volume down & power buttons.

After the hard reset via the Recovery Mode, I reached the “Welcome” screen.

Let’s begin the device setup. Hit the forward button to move ahead.

The next screen is – “Set Internet Connection”. Connect your K40 device to a Wi-Fi network and tap “Next”.

It takes a few minutes to check for the updates. You need to wait.

Afterward, it brings me to the “Copy apps & data” screen.

Choose “Don’t copy” to move ahead.

On the next page, it’s asking to verify the screen lock password.

We either need to enter the correct lock screen password or sign in with the previously synced Google account to proceed further –

Let’s use the latest & easiest 2022 hack to get past the Google lock on LG K40 as follows –

How to bypass Google FRP lock on LG K40 Android 10 AT&T lm-x420as without a computer – No Switch Access 2021 2022

We are stuck on the “Google – Verify your Account” screen.

Go 2 steps back using the back button to land on the “Set Internet Connection” page.

On the internet connection screen, we need to tap the “Wifi button” and the “Next button” simultaneously.

When done correctly, it’ll bring you to the “Google Sevices” page.

Keep trying until you reach the Google Services screen. You’ve to quickly tap the 2 buttons at the same time.

Click “Accept” on the “Google Services” page.

It’ll bring you to the “Secure your phone” screen.

Choose the 2nd option – “Set up only Knock Code, Pattern, PIN, or Password” and click “Next”.

Now, use the “Protect your phone” screen to add a new Pattern, PIN, or Password.

This new lock will replace the old lock screen password.

I’m choosing the PIN option.

Hit “Next” on the “Secure Start-up” screen.

Now, set up a PIN code such as 1234

Re-enter the code and click “OK”.

We have successfully changed the screen lock. A confirmation message appears on the screen.

After changing the screen lock it won’t let you proceed any further because the Wifi is turned off.

Right now we are on the “Set internet Connection” screen. Turn on the “Wi-Fi” and click “Next”.

Hit “Don’t copy” on the “Copy apps & data” screen.

Instead of the screen lock verification page, it directly brought me to the “Google – Verify your account” screen. We need the “Verify PIN” option to bypass the Google lock.

To restore that page, you need to hard reset the phone using the volume down + power buttons via Recovery Mode.

Power off your LG K40 device as shown above.

Now, press the volume down + power keys to turn on your phone.

As soon as the “LG K40” logo appears, release only the power button for a moment and hold it again. Do not leave the volume down key.

Keep holding both the buttons until you land on the “Factory Data Reset” screen also known as Recovery Mode.

In recovery mode, we need to use the volume rocker and power keys.

Hit the volume down button to move from “No(Exit)” to “Yes”. Now, select the “Yes” option with the power key.

Repeat the above steps.

Again go down from “No” to “Yes” and press the power button to reset your K40 device.

After a few minutes, I’ve landed on the “Welcome” screen.

Hit the forward button to move ahead.

Now, connect your device to a Wifi network and tap “Next”.

Click “Don’t copy” on the “Copy apps & data” screen.

Now, we are on the “Verify PIN” screen. We have restored the screen lock verification page by doing a hard reset.

Enter the PIN code we set earlier i.e. 1234 and hit “OK”.

We have successfully bypassed the Google account verification.

Use the “Skip” option to skip the Google account setup. You can add an account later.

The next screen is “Google Services”. Hit “Accept” to move ahead.

Skip the AT&T account setup. This can be done later as well.

Follow the on-screen prompts and keep moving ahead.

Tap “OK” on the “Secure your favorite memories” screen.

Now, we have reached the last screen of the setup wizard.

Tick all the “I agree” checkboxes and hit “Done” to complete the LG K40 setup wizard.

We have successfully landed on the LG K40 Android 10 home screen thus bypassing the Google lock.
