Hiding an app is quite easy on LG K20. I would have been more effective with a secure lock. However, it can be useful for hiding apps and games from kids & prying eyes. The same method can be used for finding hidden apps as well.

Let’s try to hide the Gallery & Chrome App. After hiding it will be gone from the Home Screen.

On on LG K20 or K20 Plus Homescreen Long Press an empty space to get access to Home screen settings.

Tap “Home screen settings” to open it.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and open “Hide apps” as shown above.

LG K20 Plus Custom ROMs – Lineage OS, AICP, Resurrection Remix & Incipient OS

In this post, we are going to install and test all the custom ROMs available for LG K20 Plus.

We can even get Android Oreo 8.1 on our K20 Plus by flashing Lineage OS 15.1. The various custom ROMs made available for K20 Plus by travisholt92@xda are Lineage OS 14.1, Lineage OS 15.1, AICP (Android Ice Cold Project), Incipient OS & Resurrection Remix.

The ROMs are in the form of a flashable zip file that needs to be flashed using TWRP custom recovery. They are available in 32-bit as well as 64-bit. You need to flash 32-bit or 64-bit TWRP accordingly.

You need to match the Google Apps package accordingly as well.

LG K20 Plus Lineage OS 15.1 Android Oreo 8.1.0 Custom ROM (64-bit)

LG K20 Plus Screen Mirroring without Chromecast – Roku, Fire Stick – Miracast

There is no option to Cast a screen on LG K20 or K20 Plus. So, other than Chromecast if you’re trying to mirror your phone to a TV it won’t work.

However, this issue can be rectified by flashing a Lineage OS custom ROM on K20. As its a stock Google ROM it has the CAST option similar to Motorola phones.

Using this option we can easily mirror our K20 screen to the TV using ROKU, Microsoft’s Wireless Display Adapter, Amazon Fire Stick, etc.

Does the LG K20 have Screen Mirroring?

Yes, LG K20 Plus does have screen mirroring support but to get the “Cast” option we need to install Lineage OS Custom ROM on our K20 Plus.

Chromecast can be used with LG K20 Plus stock android using the Google Home app.

To do Screen Mirroring on TV via Amazon Fire TV Stick, Roku Wireless Adapter & Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter we need the Cast Option which comes with a Lineage OS Custom ROM.
