AT&T Calypso u318aa is the same as Cricket Vision 3. Both runs on the Android 10 go operating system. The original Calypso device is now upgraded to Calypso 2 u319aa. The successor comes with Android 11 go out of the box.
In this post, we are going to use the latest 2022 method to bypass the Google account verification on AT&T Calypso Android 10 without a computer. In a few minutes, you’ll reach the U318aa home screen.
So, let’s begin the troubleshooting –
The need for Google verification arises when you hard reset your Calypso device via Recovery Mode.
I was locked out due to the forgotten password. To bypass the AT&T Calypso lock screen I used the volume up & power keys to factory reset the device.
After the reset, I reached the “Hi There” screen.
Click the “START” button to move ahead.
Now, connect your phone to a Wifi network.
After connecting to the internet, It’ll bring you to the “Copy apps & data” page.
Hit “Don’t copy” to move ahead.
Now, I’m stuck on the “Verify Password” screen. To get past this page, I need to enter the correct password or the previously synced Google account.
But I’ve forgotten these details.
Let’s use the latest 2022 hack to bypass the FRP lock on AT&T Calypso Android 10 without a computer as follows –
How to bypass Google account verification – FRP lock on AT&T Calypso u318aa Android 10 without computer 2022
To bypass the Google verification, go back from the “Google – Verify your account” screen to the first page of the setup wizard.
We are now on the “START” screen.
Click the “Emergency Call” button.
When the phone dialer opens, tap “EMERGENCY INFORMATION” two times.
Now, we are on the Emergency Information page. Tap the “edit icon” as shown above.
Then select the first option – “Name – Owner”.
When the Name pop-up window shows up, tap the “profile picture icon” and select the lower option – “Choose an image”.
This will take you to the “Recent” screen of the file manager app.
Hit the “3 bar icon” on the top and long press the “Drive” option.
With the long press, you’ll land on the “App Info” screen of the Drive app.
Now, select “Permissions” to proceed further.
On the “App Permissions” screen, there is a search button on the top. Click on it.
Now, type settings in the search box.
When the results appear, scroll down on this page.
Look for “Settings – App Info” and click on it.
On the following screen, hit “OPEN” to enter the Settings app.
In Settings, we need to select “Security”.
Select the last option on the Security page – “Screen Pinning”.
Now, turn on Screen Pinning.
Also, enable the second option – “Lock device when unpinning”.
This will take you to the “Protect your phone” screen.
It allows us to add a new lock screen PIN, Pattern, or Password.
Let’s choose the PIN option.
I’m setting up 1234 as the new PIN code.
After changing the screen lock go back to the first page.
We are now on the “Hi There” screen.
Click “START” to move ahead.
Hit “Don’t copy” on the “Copy apps & data” screen.
It skipped the “Verify PIN” screen and directly took me to the Google verification page. We need the screen lock verification page to bypass the Google account.
Let’s factory reset the device to restore that page.
Long-press the power button and choose “Power off”. Wait for the phone to shut down completely.
Now, press and hold the volume & power keys.
It brings me to a black screen with 3 options – Recovery Mode, Fastboot Mode, & Normal Boot.
Use the volume up button to choose the “Recovery Mode” option.
Now press the volume down button to enter “Recovery Mode”.
Instead of recovery mode, it took me to the “No Command” screen.
To bypass the No Command screen –
Press and hold the power key.
Keep it pressed and tap the volume up button once.
Release both the buttons when the “Android Recovery” screen appears.
In the Recovery mode, the touch doesn’t work.
Use the volume down button to move from “Reboot System Now” to “Wipe data/factory reset”.
Now click the power key once.
Again hit the volume down button to move from “Cancel” to “Factory data reset”.
Now, press the power button once. This will initiate the factory reset process.
After a few minutes, I reached the “START” screen.
Tap “START” to proceed.
Click “Don’t copy” when you reach the “Copy apps & data” page.
This time we get the “Verify PIN” screen.
Enter the PIN code 1234 that we set earlier.
The lock screen verification is successful. We have bypassed the Google account on AT&T Calypso.
Hit the “Skip” button to move ahead.
Now, accept the Google services terms and conditions.
Skip the screen lock set up in the next step.
Skip the face unlock setup and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the setup wizard.
We have successfully landed on the AT&T Calypso home screen thus bypassing the Google lock.
